About the Course
The Cybersecurity for Law Enforcement Executives course was developed for the National Public Safety Innovation Academy (NIA) at Polk State College. It is a 12.5-hour, two-day program designed for mid-level law enforcement and corrections managers preparing for executive and command roles.
Who it’s for
Lieutenants, captains, deputy chiefs, and corrections managers who are about to assume — or recently have assumed — command positions. No technical background required.

The instructor
Pete Hish — 27 years in law enforcement, current supervisor of a cyber fraud and cybercrime investigations unit in Southern California. U.S. Army veteran, master’s degree in counterterrorism, certified cybersecurity specialist, and author of Hacked or Hardened.
